Up to 12 voting members may be appointed by Council to serve on the Heritage Commission.
Each March, municipal staff initiates a public call for nominees. Interested persons should complete and submit the application form prior to end of March.
A list of eligible nominees with background information is forwarded in a report prepared by municipal staff to Council for their first meeting in April. Appointments to the Commission are made by Council at a closed meeting by the first week in May. Vacancies occurring during a term will be filled as soon as possible.
